currently fascinated by the idea of impermanence vs. the idea of infinity.

both Buddhists and existentialists say that if you realize everything in this world ends (ex. we die), we are set free. if we can accept that relationships end and things change, then we can let go of our attachments and experience true happiness. 

i’m struggling with this. i want to live in the here and now, yet i can’t help but want something that i can hold on to. i want something that lasts. it’s hard.
